All garments are made from one of two special fabrics: Chloresist (swimwear) and Solarcool (activewear).

Since the earliest production runs, Solarsuit has used its own Australian made specialty fabrics, which can withstand the effects of chlorine and saltwater. 

Furthermore, to keep Solarsuit at the cutting edge of quality standards, it has joined the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology, so that its garments can be third-party endorsed as safe for humans and the environment.

Solarsuit’s fabric and dye manufacturer has achieved the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for its new product ranges, meaning it has passed the test for harmful substances in its products and in its production processes.

All Solarsuit fabrics are independently tested by The Australian Radiation and Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency: ARPANSA.
